Club Update – Corona Virus Update June 2020
Dear Coaches /Parents
As a club myself, Mike Phillips, Dale Beddows, Louise Parker and Samantha Ann Hayes-Wilson have held a meeting 3rd June 2020 to discuss the news from Grassroots /Fa on the potential of returning some form of football for our children at Newtown Sports FC
Whilst this sounds great for our players to start enjoying there football again, as a club we feel we need to ensure we have clear guidelines and policies in place at our club to ensure the safety of all parents /players and coaching staff. DALE will be conducting a risk assessment in accordance with Fa guidelines and health care support via Louise for the returning of training and use of facilities at Greenhill drive,as you can appreciate this will take some time to complete but I’m hopeful that we can achieve soon.
No child or parent or coach need feel under pressure to return to our club for training until such time as it is Safe to do so and any policies or procedures are in place As a Community club we need to support and stop the spread of Covid19.
We will keep you updated on the developments and look forward to resuming but only when safe to do so.
